Felix I. Danziger
Felix I. Danziger, 73, died September 23 at his home in Novato, Calif. He was the father of Kim Jake Danziger of Newtown.
Born in Sosnowicz, Poland, in 1927, Mr Danziger survived Nazi concentration camps during World War II, and immigrated to the United States following the war. He married his wife of 34 years, the late Gertrude Danziger, in 1952. After working for Ford Motor Company and Leica Camera, he was a partner in a firm that introduced laundromats to Germany during the 1960s. He later became a builder of luxury homes in the Stamford area, and resided in Stamford and Greenwich before retiring out-of-state.
Mr Danziger is also survived by his daughter-in-law Barbara and grandchildren Brian and Kathy Danziger of Newtown; son David Danziger, daughter-in-law Adele and grandchildren Monique, Jacqueline and Dylan Danziger of Richboro, Penn.; and son Robert Danziger, daughter-in-law Kimberly and grandchildren Sarah and Ethan Danziger of Novato, Calif.
Funeral services were held on September 27 at Temple Sholom, 300 E. Putnam Avenue, Greenwich. Interment was at Temple Sholom Cemetery in Greenwich.
