Children’s Programs

*Summer Reading Kick-Off & Children’s Book Sale: Mark your calendars for Wednesday, June 25. That’s when the library will kick off the summer reading program at Newtown High School. The children’s book sale will open at 9 am and “The Lost Ark,” a live animal program about the rainforest, will take place at 10:30. The site for this year’s program was moved to the high school so that we could accomodate the ever-growing numbers who attend our first program of the summer. No reservations are necessary.
