Kling Completes USAF Training

Kurt D. Kling, son of Keith and Debra Kling of Newtown, graduated from the US Air Force Training Center at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas, on April 30.

Airman Kling received ribbons for successfully completing military basic training and national defense. He also received an honor of being chosen as a co-element leader of his flight, and the position of right guard of his flight, leading his flight in review at graduation. His flight 320 was commended for being top flight of the day.

Airman Kling is now stationed at Keesler Air Force Base, Mississippi, for technical school training as a communications computer systems controller.

He is a 2002 Newtown High School graduate.
