(MIDDLE) Several Newtown swimmers, representing the Wilton Y Wahoos, had outstanding performances at the Connecticut Age Group Swimming Long Course Championships at Wesleyan University in Middletown. Each of these swimmers qualified by meeting the exceptional time standards to compete in the 2003 Eastern Zone Long Course Swimming Competition being held at the University of Pittsburgh, August 6-9. They will compete against some of the top swimmers in the Eastern United States.
