Methodists Plan Fall Craft Fair
Methodists Plan Fall Craft Fair
Rev Terry Wayne Pfeiffer and the congregation of the Newtown United Methodist Church are busy preparing for their upcoming Fall Craft Fair set for September 24â25. Rev Pfeifferâs original watercolors will be featured in the fair.
Rev Pfeiffer was introduced to the art of watercolors by his sister-in-law, Jane McCutcheon, whose art will also be featured in the fair. The fair will include a wide variety of professional crafters, homemade baked goods, theme baskets, and a silent auction. A childrenâs fair will coincide with the Fall Craft Fair and include carnival games, face painting, popcorn, cotton candy, a moon bounce, and much more.
A portion of the proceeds from the fair will go to support children in need through the United Methodist Churchâs Bolivia Project. Crafts made by the people of the Bolivian village supported by the church will also be on sale.
Hours for the Fall Craft Fair are from 5 to 8 pm on September 24, and 10 am to 4 pm on September 25. Newtown United Methodist Church is at 92 Church Hill Road in Sandy Hook. For more information, contact the church office at 203-426-9998.
