Jeanmarie Carole Morlath and Jeffrey Aden King were married by the Monsignor Robert Weiss at St Rose of Lima Church in Newtown on May 30, 2010. A reception followed at The Candlewood Inn in Brookfield.
The bride is the daughter of Robert and Lorraine Morlath of Sandy Hook. She was given into marriage by her father.
For her wedding day, Jeanmarie selected a gown by Kenzie-Augusta Jones.
Her maid of honor was Laura Hubeny of South Windsor. Bridesmaids were Shawna King, sister of the groom; Katie Daugherty, cousin of the bride; Kandice Cohen, a friend of the bride since high school; Genna McCann, another friend since high school; and Karen Stryker, a friend from college.
Will Simmons served as best man for Jeffrey. Ushers were Jim Morlath and Rob Morlath, brothers of the bride; Blair Balmforth, a friend from high school of the bride and groom; and Justin Nickerson, a future brother-in-law of the couple.
Annabella Hernandez, a cousin of the bride, served as flower girl.
The groom is the son of Joan King of Danbury and Robert King of Trumbull.
He and his wife are both graduates of Newtown High School. Jeanmarie then earned CPA status from the University of Connecticut, while Jeffrey earned his through Western Connecticut State University. Both are employed as tax accountants for Pricewaterhouse Coopers.
Following a honeymoon to Costa Rica, the Kings have returned to their home in Melrose, Mass.
