Congregation Adath Israel will host a night of comedy with Rabbi Sim Glaser, to take place on Sunday, March 15, at 7 pm, at the synagogue, 115 Huntingtown Road in Newtown.

Rabbi Glaser has performed at the Twin Cities Jewish Humor Festival for five years running, with sold out shows. He has delighted his synagogue with his own “Late Night with Rabbi Glaser” productions. He has also performed at rabbinical conventions as well as out-of-town synagogues.

In addition to his entertainment appearances, Rabbi Glaser currently serves as the Associate Rabbi at Temple Israel in Minneapolis, Minn. Prior to that, he was affiliated with Congregation Beth Israel in West Hartford for eight years, during which he held posts of Senior Rabbi and Assistant/Associate Rabbi.

Comedy Night is open to the public. The entertainment is geared toward adults and older teens. A reception with light refreshments will follow the show.
