To the Editor:
I am pleased to add my support for Mitch Bolinskyâs candidacy for state representative for the 106th General Assembly District.
I know Mitch in his official capacity as a member of the Newtown Legislative Council and vice chairman of the Newtown Republican Town Committee.
Mitch is a good listener who remembers what you said, which is a necessary skill when dealing with legislators who may sometimes speak out of both sides of their mouth. He is an independent thinker who will not be an automatic vote for a party line.
I have respect for his ability to organize and execute. For example, he organized a very successful forum of the gubernatorial candidates seeking for the Republican nomination in 2010 which went off without a hitch. Ask him to do something and it will get done and done well.
Because Mitch is a good listener, well organized and able to execute, he will hit the ground running in Hartford, ready to promote Newtownâs interests, and will greatly benefit Newtown as a member of the Connecticut General Assembly.
Sincerely,
Margot S. Hall
