The Knights of Columbus will run its annual Free Throw Competition, sponsored by Newtown Council No. 185. There are ten categories of competition for boys and girls, ages 10-14 as of Jan 1.

The event will be held Sunday, January 5 at 2 pm in the St. Rose School Gym/Gathering Hall. The competition is expected to last for about an hour. There is no entry fee and registration will take place at the door.

Every participant receives a certificate of participation and patch. The winners get plaques with the opportunity to compete at the division level with the potential to compete on the state level.
