Bruno Joins Stamford Mortgage

STAMFORD — Chris Bruno of Newtown has joined Stamford Mortgage Company, a full-service residential and commercial mortgage company servicing customers in greater Fairfield County.

As a vice president with the firm, Mr Bruno is responsible for expanding the company’s service to low-income borrowers, and those with less-than-perfect credit. In this capacity, he will initiate financing arrangements with additional lenders who focus on customers with minimal credit histories, bruised credit, or limited down payment funds. He will also establish the company’s FHA (Fair Housing Authority) lending department.

Formerly an accountant with GE Capital Mortgage Corporation, Chris Bruno was responsible for broker sales in Connecticut. Before joining GE Capital Mortgage Corporation, he worked for ten years in sales and sales management.

Mr Bruno graduated from Fairfield University with a bachelor of arts degree in economics. He lives with his wife and three children in Newtown.
