Kasey Lynn Keating to Brandt Schneider

 Katherine Keating of Woodbury and John Keating of Las Vegas, Nev., both formerly of Newtown, announce the engagement of their daughter, Kasey Lynn Keating, to Brandt Schneider of Southbury. Mr Schneider is the son of Kurt and Pam Schneider of Newville, Penn., formerly of Newtown.

Ms Keating graduated from Newtown High School with the Class of 1989 and received her bachelor of science in biology from Villanova University in 1993. She is an accountant employed by D and S Pump Supply.

Mr Schneider graduated from Newtown High School with the Class of 1987 and received a bachelor of arts degree from Oberlin College in 1991 and a masters of arts degree from Syracuse University in 1994. He is a teacher and coach with the Derby Public Schools.

An August wedding is planned.
