John Pallas, Jr
John Pallas, Jr, formerly of Newtown, devoted husband of Roberta (Bozzomo) Pallas, died on March 4 at the West Haven Veteranâs Hospital.
John was born on June 3, 1941, son of the late John, Sr, and Mary (Kerilla) Pallas, in Huntington, N.Y. He was a graduate of Warren Harding High School in Bridgeport.
John was a veteran of the United States Navy and later worked in the printing industry, owning and operating Pal-4 Printing. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his grandchildren.
Besides his loving wife, Roberta, John will be missed by his loving sons, John Pallas III and his wife, Sarah, of Monroe, and Jason Pallas of New Haven; his cherished daughter, Kirsten, and her husband, Mark Daab, of New Milford; grandchildren, Hunter and Jordyn Daab, and Ashley Pallas. He will also be missed by his brother, George Pallas of Branford, and sister, Joan Fitzgerald of Ansonia, as well as several nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, March 8, at 2 pm at Our Lady of the Lakes Church, New Milford. Friends may call on Friday, March 7, between the hours of 4 and 9 pm, at the Brookfield Funeral Home, 786 Federal Road, Brookfield.
