Mr and Mrs Craig P. McCarthy

Alison Pauline Riley and Craig Patrick McCarthy were married on September 18 at St Elizabeth Roman Catholic Church in Martha’s Vineyard with Father John Kerdiejus, SJ, cousin of the bride, officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Mary A. Riley of Boston, Mass., and the late William C. Riley. The bridegroom is the son of Walter and Patricia McCarthy of Newtown.

The bride was given in marriage by Dr Richard Samaha, godfather of the bride, of Higham, Mass.

She wore a strapless, off-white gown with satin ribbon edges and carried a bouquet of pink and apricot colored roses.

Joseph P. Smith of Boston was the best man, and William C. Riley, Jr, brother of the bride, of Boston, was a bridal attendant.

A reception followed the ceremony at Atria, Edgartown, Martha’s Vineyard.

The bride graduated from Dickinson College and is employed in advertising at Hill Holliday in Boston.

The groom graduated from Providence College and is employed in marketing at Converse in North Andover, Mass.

Following a wedding trip to Tobago in the West Indies, the couple is residing in Charlestown, Mass.
