Warrants
Police report that while he was appearing at Danbury Superior Court on the morning of October 4, they arrested Robert Coffey, 28, of 98 Church Hill Road on two warrants stemming from police investigations into past incidents.
Police said they charged Coffey with two counts of sixth-degree larceny on one warrant. Police charged him with fourth-degree larceny and with third-degree burglary on the other warrant.
On October 3, police had charged Coffey on another warrant listing one count of second-degree failure to appear in court stemming from prior charges of sixth-degree larceny and fraudulent use of an automatic teller machine.
Coffey was arraigned on the charges in court on October 4. He has pleaded not guilty to all charges. Coffey was being held on $52,500 bail on October 9 in the Bridgeport Correctional Center for an October 26 court appearance.
Lamps Stolen
Police report that sometime overnight on September 29â30, someone stole exterior electric lamps from the driveway entrance of a residential property in the Hoseye Coach Road area. Hoseye Coach Road links Marlin Road to the intersection of Old Mill Road, Sherman Street, and Still Hill Road.
Police ask anyone with knowledge of the crime to contact them at the police station at 203-426-5841.
Harassment
After learning that police held a warrant for her arrest, Corine Bamrick, 41, of Guilford turned herself over to police at the police station on the morning of October 4 and was charged with second-degree harassment, police said.
Police said that the arrest stems from their investigation into a complaint that Bamrick had sent numerous unwanted text messages to a local person from June to August.
Police said they held Bamrick on bail for an October 4 court arraignment. At her arraignment, Bamrick pleaded not guilty and was then released for an October 25 court appearance.
Vandalism
Police said that they are investigating an incident of unspecified vandalism that occurred in the Winton Farm Road area overnight on September 28â29. Winton Farm Road extends from Pine Tree Hill Road, near the Newtown-Monroe border.
Police ask anyone with information on the vandalism to contact them.
Mt Pleasant Road
Motorist Joseph Martin, 56, of Stratford was driving a 2009 Nissan Versa eastward near 151 Mt Pleasant Road about 6:30 pm on September 28, when a deer ran out onto the street, resulting in a collision. Martin was not injured. Police took no enforcement.
Point Oâ Rocks
Police report a two-car accident near 24 Point Oâ Rocks Road, a dirt road that links Boggs Hill Road to Deep Brook Road.
The accident involved motorist Victor Russock, 20, of Danbury, who was driving a 2004 Toyota Camry sedan southwestward, and motorist Mary Karen Merrill, 68, of 1 Dover Circle, who was driving a 1999 Subaru Outback station wagon northeastward, at about 1:09 pm on October 2.
There were no injuries. Police said they took no enforcement.
Supermarket
Police report that they responded to a complaint from the Stop & Shop supermarket at Sand Hill Plaza at 228 South Main Street at about 7:14 pm on October 4.
After investigating, police said they charged Lori Ann Schovanec, 32, of 117 Huntingtown Road with sixth-degree larceny.
Police said they released Schovanec on $300 bail for an October 18 court appearance.
Infiniti Vs Pole
At about 1:33 am on October 5, motorist Kristen Mulvey, 27, of Southbury was driving a 2011 Infiniti sedan northward near 22 Glen Road, when she lost control of the auto and struck a utility pole, police said.
Mulvey was not injured. Work crews repaired the damage, resulting in travel delays in the area.
Police said they issued Mulvey a written warning for making an improper turn.
Bad Checks
Police said that on the morning of October 5, they arrested Eileen Fish, 50, of 4 Fawnwood Road on a warrant, charging her with three counts of issuing a bad check.
Police said that their investigation into the case stemmed from a September 3 complaint. Fish was released on $500 bail for an October 17 court appearance, according to police.
Burglary/Larceny
Sometime between 10 am and 12:30 pm on October 5, someone burglarized a Platts Hill Road home and stole a jewelry box containing some jewelry, police said. The burglar also stole a Dell-brand portable computer with a 10-inch screen, police report.
Police are investigating and ask anyone with information on the crime to contact them at the police station.
Fencing Missing
Police report that sometime overnight on October 1â2, someone stole seven sections of vinyl fencing, plus fence posts and fence caps from a residential property in the Scenic View Drive area, near Lake Lillinonah.
Police are investigating the crime and ask anyone with information on it to contact them.
Credit Card
After learning that police held a warrant for his arrest, Joao Dasilva, Jr, 28, of Danbury turned himself over to police at the police station about 7 pm on October 7 and was charged with sixth-degree larceny, identity theft, and illegal use of a credit card, according to police.
The charges stem from an investigation into a July 18 incident, police said. Dasilva was released on $10,000 bail for an October 23 court appearance.

Device Found
On September 30, an Apple-brand iPod electronic device was found lying near the intersection of New Lebbon Road and Aspen Road, police said.
The deviceâs screen displays a photo of a center-court scoreboard. The owner may identify and claim the device at the police station.
Device Lost
On the night of October 5, a person lost a black and blue colored Apple-brand iPhone at the Blue Colony Diner at 66 Church Hill Road, according to police.
Police ask anyone who finds the device to bring the item to the police station at 3 Main Street.
Sandy Hook Crash
At about 9 pm on October 4, motorist Charles Simon, 62, of Southbury, who was driving a 2005 Scion auto, was waiting at a traffic signal on northbound Toddy Hill Road at its intersection with Berkshire Road, police said.
Motorist Jennifer Neumeyer, 41, of Monroe, who was driving a 2005 Volvo XC-90 SUV, was westbound on Berkshire Road and then attempted to turn left onto southbound Toddy Hill Road, but collided with the Scion, police said.
There were no injuries. Neumeyer received a written warning for making an improper turn, according to police.
Three Vehicles
A three-vehicle accident occurred near 39 Berkshire Road at about 1:49 pm on September 25.
A 2012 Subaru Impreza sedan driven by Peter Tomaino, 40, of Danbury stopped for traffic in the westbound lane, after which a westbound 2000 Toyota Avalon sedan driven by Amy Purus, 22, of 51 Bennetts Bridge Road stopped behind the Subaru, according to police.
A westbound 2012 GMC Acadia SUV driven by Joseph Kitzmiller, 16, of 71 Marlin Road, then struck the rear end of the Toyota, pushing the Toyota into the rear end of the Subaru, police said.
There were no injuries. Police report they issued Kitzmiller an infraction for following too closely.
Equipment Failure
Police report that motorist Erika Rae Albino, 19, of Wolcott was driving a 2004 Chrysler Sebring convertible on Berkshire Road, near Zoar Road, about 2:45 pm on October 7, when the autoâs brakes became disabled, resulting in her losing control of the vehicle while negotiating a curve. The auto then collided with some guardrailing, after which the Chrysler came to a stop, blocking both lanes of traffic, police said.
Albino was not injured. Police took no enforcement.
Tractor-Trailer
Motorist Margaret Daly, no age given, of Waquoit, Mass., was driving a 2005 Honda Civic sedan westward on Interstate 84 in the center lane of three lanes, east of Exit 9, at about 5:07 pm on October 3, while a 1999 Freightliner tractor-trailer truck was being driven westward in the right lane of three lanes by Anthony Hill, 43, of Arlington, Tenn., state police report.
 In the area where the three lanes merge into two lanes, the tractor-trailer truck sideswiped the Honda, state police said. There were no injuries. Enforcement information was not available.
Rear-Ender
At about 1:54 pm on October 1, on westbound Interstate 84, east of Exit 9, motorist Patricia Gaffney, 51, of 179 Hanover Road, who was driving a 2006 Ford Taurus, slowed for traffic conditions and was then struck from behind by motorist Michael Ditaranto, 23, of Brewster, N.Y., who was driving a 2007 Subaru Impreza, state police said. State police said that Ditaranto was following too closely.
Two Charges
Police report they responded to a Brushy Hill Road home about 7 pm on October 1, after which they investigated a complaint and charged a 17-year-old girl with breach of peace and with criminal mischief in connection with her allegedly intentionally damaging a motor vehicle.
Police released the girl on a written promise to appear in court on October 15. Police did not disclose the girlâs identity due to her age.

Failure to Respond
After learning that police held an arrest warrant for her, Reaghan Malloy, 28, of Southbury went to the police station on the afternoon of October 9 and was charged with failure to respond to an infraction, possession of less than one-half ounce of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia, police report.
Police said they received a warrant in the case after Malloy had failed to respond to an infraction ticket that she was issued in connection with an April 19 incident. Such infractions carry fines that are payable by mail or may be appealed in court.
After she posted $286 bail, police released Malloy for an October 23 appearance in Danbury Superior Court.
Multiple Charges
Police report they received a call alerting them that a person was attempting to use a forged document in seeking to obtain a prescription drug at Walgreens Pharmacy at 49 South Main Street on the afternoon of October 9, so they went there to investigate.
Police said they determined that Erik Figueroa, 33, of Bronx, N.Y., was attempting to use a forged prescription to obtain narcotics.
Police then charged Figueroa with second-degree forgery, attempting to obtain a prescription drug through forgery, attempting to obtain a prescription drug through the use of a false address, and criminal attempt to possess and sell narcotics.
During arrest processing, police learned that Figueroa was wanted on warrants by police in Ansonia and West Haven.
 Those pending charges include first-degree failure to appear in court, second-degree failure to appear in court, driving under the influence, traveling too fast, driving with suspended license, failure to renew a vehicle registration, possession of a controlled substance in a prohibited area, and two counts of possession of a controlled substance or less than four ounces of marijuana.
Police said they held Figueroa on $7,500 bail for an October 10 court appearance.
Traffic Stop
About 8:47 pm on October 9, police made a traffic stop near 5 Hanover Road.
After investigating, they charged motorist Eric Barrientos-Hernandez, 28, of Danbury with driving with a suspended registration, driving without a license, failure to have tail lamps, and failure to carry an automotive insurance identification card.
Police released him on a written promise to appear in court on October 23.
Three Vehicles
State police responded to a three-vehicle accident between Exit 11 and Exit 10 on westbound Interstate 84 at about 7:05 am on October 10, which created extensive westbound travel delays during the morning rush.
Motorist Joseph Thurston, 32, of Waterbury, who was driving a 1991 Plymouth Voyager minivan, slowed and veered onto the left road shoulder due to heavy traffic, state police said. Motorist Jeffrey Pallette, 43, of Waterbury, who was driving a 2011 Toyota RAV-4 SUV, slowed behind the Plymouth, according to state police. Motorist Joseph Pereira, 21, of Naugatuck, who was driving a 2004 Jeep Wrangler SUV, then slid in to the rear end of the Toyota, pushing the Toyota into the rear end of the Plymouth, state police said.
The Newtown Volunteer Ambulance Corps transported Pallette to Danbury Hospital to be treated for pain, state police said. Sandy Hook volunteer firefighters responded to the incident.
State police said that Thurston was driving while under suspension and was issued a court summons. State police said Pereira received an infraction for traveling too fast for conditions.
