Wind Ensemble To Play Benefit

Newtown Congregational Church will host a concert by The Community Wind Ensemble of Western Connecticut on Friday, September 5. The concert will begin at 7:30 pm and will be in the church’s sanctuary, at 14 West Street in Newtown.

All are welcome to this fundraiser, which will benefit the NCC Building Fund. Admission is by donation.

The concert’s theme is “An American Showcase: Music from Main Street to Broadway.” It will be a family concert featuring the most recognized music of the Big Band, march, light classical and stage composers of America.
