To the Editor:

Like others perhaps, we are very concerned for the safety of pedestrians, bikers and vehicular traffic at many of our town center crosswalks. With three crosswalks and more than five access vehicular paths plus parking and departing vehicles, the flagpole intersection will see a dramatic change coming any day now with the new addition of this high traffic generating business – a new restaurant and bakery.

If one were to look around, you won’t see crosswalk signals inside many crosswalks we have. Why?  No money? No one can agree?  Well, it’s about time action is taken. Before another tragedy occurs and someone is seriously injured or killed, action should be taken to fix this long time spoken issue.

We hope the Police Commission and others can agree to take action already.
