Old Ladies 3, Hurricanes 0 â Jenn Brill, Meaghan Barbour and Erica Woloszywski scored to lift the Old Ladies to the win. Brianna Barry played well on both sides of the field. For the Hurricanes, Mitchell Haitz played well in the goalie position along with Amanda Sweat on defense and Alex Scarpa on offense.
Rapids 1, Stallions 0 â Rachele Cox was great in goal as Nicole Collins played great defense and Megan Keenan and Meredith Letso were solid at midfield for the Stallions.

Pink Muffins 2, Danbury 2 â Dave Manville scored a pair of goals, one on a penalty kick and the other off an assist by Max Baudisch, to lead the Muffins. Eric Rardin was solid on D.
Pink Muffins 8, Lasers 7 â Eric Rardin scored four goals to power the Muffins. Dave Manville added a pair while Jonathan Zigman and Dan Lawrence had one each. Logan Mammen and Kevin Carney sparked the defense.
Girls E
Lightning Feet 2, Nighthawks 0 â Kaitlyn Connolly and Samantha Salvatore scored a goal a piece to lead the Feet over the Night Hawks. Julianne Scalaffini and Dani Villa had the shutout in goal, while Sarah McMahon supported the offense. For the Hawks, Marysa Audet, Amanda Statnton, Emily Ashbolt and Kyra Murray all had good games.
Lightning Feet 1, Dynamite 0 â In a defensive battle, Christina Gould scored the lone goal for the Feet. Hanah Maret, Samatha Salvatore and Sarah McMahon fueled the offensive push for the Feet. Alexandria Grant, Jenna Stromsky, Maddie Dorso and Matilda Dean were strong for the Dynamite.

Supersonics 2, Silver Hawks 1 â Michael Carrafiello scored two goals to lead the âSonics to the win. Ryan LeMay was strong in goal and at midfield. Tom Bernath and Nathan Norwich both played well on the wing. For the Silver Hawks, Francis Afriyie scored the goal off an assist from Brandon Body. Brian Kruger played a great game in goal.
Kings 4, Vipers 1 â The Kings completed an undefeated season with a win over the Vipers. Strong defensive play by Douglas Brede along with goals by Thomas Murphy, Keegan Lombard, Connor Quinn, and Thomas Capozziello propelled the Kings to the victory. Having strong games for the Vipers were Ian Solaski, who scored a goal, Chris McGowan on offense, Bob Mascher on defense and Matt Hoffmann in goal.
Terminators 1, Blaze 0 â Patrick Zingaro scored the lone goal to lead the Terminators to victory. Will Little, George Delia and John Fallin were outstanding on defense. For the Blaze, Jimmy Russo and Nicholas Badiola were great in goal. Mike Calderoni was solid on offense and Walker Mansfield played great defense.
Nucleus 4, Tigersharks 2 â Greg Campbell, Russell Morgan, John Imbimbo and Andrew Bonvini scored first half goals to lead the Nucleus to the win. For the âSharks, Matt Datin roared back in the second half with two goals, one assisted by Lewis Thompson. Taren Horvath played brilliant defense.
Boys F
Dragons 4, Lightning Bolts 1 â Nick Barreto scored twice to lead the Dragons to the win. Drew Sullivan and Robert Willis also scored. Zach Waller had an excellent game on defense. For the Bolts, Danny Bittman scored. Connor Gallagher and Wesley Morlock had good games in offense and Vivek Telda played well in defense.
Bombers 2, Tornados 1 â Harry Solaski and Tyler Ruefenacht scored to lead the Bombers to the win. Matt Villamana had an assist while Jonathan Vaughan played well. For the Tornadoes, Ricky Kerins had the only goal. Collin Moller played great defense as Miguel Rodriguez and Nick Shannon powered the offense.
Wolverines 5, Monsters 2 â Tyler Roberts scored four goals as the Wolverines defeated the Monsters. Samuel Pliszka also scored as Adam Oelberg provided an assist and Charlie Poarch played well in goal. For the Monsters, Gabe Keogler, Francis Saraceni, Mike Semf and Scott Kelley played well.
Nighthawks 3, Raging Rams 1 â Alex Roche scored twice as the Nighthawks defeated the Raging Rams. Timmy Kelly played well defensively for the Nighthawks. For the Rams, Thomas Garrantino scored while Michael Lally, James Marusi and Matthew Wood played well.
White Lightning 4, Rockets 1 â Stephen Conway, Jake Locorotondo, Jacob Moore and Connor Roche all scored to lead the Lightning to the win. Phil Healy scored for the Rockets with Cameron Weibel providing great support on offense. Spencer Brindley and Zach Pollock both gave strong performances on defense.

Cheetahs 3, Cheetah Champions 2 â Emily Cannavo scored the winning goal for the Cheetahs. Shannon OâGorman and Tressa Scott also scored goals and Gabrielle DeBartolomeo was great in goal. For the Champions, Lyndsey Pearlman scored two goals and Dale Shearin was great on offense. Julie LaPearch and Anne Berning did a great job.
Killer Bees 3, Hawks 1 â Lindsey Jossick scored two goals and Lindsey Jagoe added one to lead the Bees to the win. Lilia Hutchinson and Libby DiDomizio played great. For the Hawks, Stephanie Roman scored while Tess Murray, Margo Trainer and Lillia McEnaney had solid games.
Cheetahs 2, Twisters 0 â Samantha Steimle and Tressa Scott scored to lead the Cheetahs to the win. Erica Schultz and Amanda Crowell played well. For the Twisters, Paige Kroha and Sarah Potter were solid on defense as Emily Davis and Angela Halili played well.
Shockers 2, Huskies 1 â Ellyn Gordon and Bridget Power scored to lead the Shockers to the win. Taylor Brady and Emily Papp played aggressively. For the Huskies, Caitlin Yakush scored with an assist by Danielle Shine. Aspen Kraushaar was strong at middie and Amy Martin defended the goal brilliantly.
Tornadoes 2, Thunder 1 â Maggie Kost scored two goals to power the Tornadoes. Emily Grimas was strong in the goal while Lilly Holmes added to the defense. Emily DeGirolamo scored the goal for the Thunder. Jenny Indelicato and Cassie Laurent played well.
Girls U10
Power 2, Middlebury 0 â A pair of goals from Molly Mahony lifted the Power to the win. Meghan Carney had an assist. Kendall Svanda and Maddy Keane shared the shutout in goal.
Power 2, Brookfield 0 â Allie Korchman scored twice to lead the Power to the win. Christina Caporale had an assist. Leah Barrett and Virginia Trombini played terrific defense.
Power 2, Watertown 2 â Meghan Carney scored on an assist from Nora Murphy and Kelley Gaston scored on a penalty kick to lead the Power. Allie Fuentes played well at midfield. Brooke Liefels and Christina Naldini played solid defense.
Boys U10
Danbury 1, Crusaders 0 â Strong offense by Jason Marks and Adam Ellison and excellent midfield by Hank Helgren and Travis LeBlanc led the Crusaders. Justin Brophy and Josh Barrett were quick on defense and Dan Gallagher was great in the net.
Crusaders 0, New Fairfield 0 â Strong offense by Sean Burson, Conrad Normann, and Colin Cooper with great midfield support from Ryan Dunnigan and Andre Cappozziello anchored the Crusaders in the tie. Travis LeBlanc and Dan Gallagher were tough on defense.
Crusaders 2, Brookfield 1 â Sean Burson and Hank Helgren scored goals with offensive support from Conrad Normann and Colin Cooper to lead the Crusaders to the win. Ryan Dunnigan and Adam Ellison were strong in the midfield as Josh Barrett and Justin Brophy were excellent at defense.
Boys U11
Strikers 5, New Fairfield 2 â Kyle Moore scored a pair of goals while Eric Thornberg, Nick Wright and Kai Aschick scored to lead the Strikers to the win. Danny Lynch, Max Brazo, Wright and Ishan Tatake all provided assists. Tony Vacaro and James Truckle were solid on D.

Roadrunners 1, New Fairfield 1 â Lauren Meyer scored the Roadrunner goal as Newtown dominated play.
Wilton Nutmeg Invitational Tournament â
Roadrunners 4, Wilton 0 â Newtown used first half goals by Lauren Meyer, Jill Jagoe, Becca Castegner and a second half score by Alex Israel to put the game away. Casey Rutter recorded the shutout. Ali Pliszka and Kelly OâConner had great games on defense while Emma Kingsley and Kristin Stoller had solid games on the wing.
Roadrunners 1, Greenwich 0 â Sarah Attanasio scored the Newtown goal off an assist by KellyAnne Brophy. A strong team defensive effort helped secure the victory as Greenwich was held to three shots on goal for the game and Casey Rutter recorded her second shutout of the day. Becca Jaroszewski and Becca Castegner had great games as Katie OâDell controlled the midfield.
Roadrunners 4, New Canaan 0 â Lauren Meyer scored a pair of goals while Sarah Attanasio and Sarah Murtha scored one apiece to lead the Roadrunners to the win. Becca Jaroszewski had a great all-around game as Casey Rutter and Becca Castegner combined for the shutout. Alex Israel, Kristin Stoller, and Shannon Paproski kept the pressure on the New Canaan goal throughout the game.
Roadrunners 1, Stamford 0 â Lauren Meyer drilled a penalty kick for the only goal of the game and the defense made it stand up as the Roadrunners captured the tournament crown. Casey Rutter denied Stamford on a breakaway in a key play of the game. The strong team defensive was led by Ali Pliszka, Kelly OâConner, Jill Jagoe and KellyAnne Brophy. Kate OâDell, Kaitlin Brophy, and Sarah Murtha had fine performances.

Rampage 1, New Milford 1 â Kate Bowen scored late in the second half off an assist from Laura Bittman to lead the Rampage. Stopper Jennifer Daily sparked the defense while goaltender Katie Pessin made 24 saves. Berenice Bryant and Caleigh Boyle had strong games.
Girls U14
Hurricanes 1, Danbury 0 â Colleen Thornberg dribled through several defenders and put a shot into the far corner of the net for the only goal of the game. The shutout was perserved by the fine defensive play of goalies Jen Brewer and Cassie David.
Wilton U13 Tournament â
Hurricanes 2, Brookfield 1 â Cassie David tied the game on a header off an assist from Colleen Thornberg and Adelle Cerreta scored the game winner on a shot from 25 yards out to rally the âCanes for the win. Katie Serock and Genna Scheuerell had strong games at mid-field.
Hurricanes 0, Fairfield 0 â The Hurricanes played a very strong Fairfield team to a 0-0 tie late in the second half when one of the Hurricanes was called for a handball in the box. On the ensuing penalty kick, goalie Emily Kluga made a great diving save that inspired the Hurricanes. Belle Hydock and Danielle Norris applied late offensive pressure but could not find the back of the net.
Danbury 1, Hurricanes 0 â The Hurricanes offensive troubles continued despite the efforts off forwards Mary Bloshuk and Carra Colacurcio who along with mid-fielders Sarah Shannon and Haley Keane kept the Danbury defense busy all game.
Hurricanes 0, Wilton 0 â Needing a win to claim first place, the Hurricanes played a great game against another very skilled team. Molly Curry, Emily Weber and goalie Emily Kluga were strong on D. The âCanes had the opportunity to win the game but shots by Genna Scheuerell and Kelly Sullivan missed the Wilton goal by inches..

Navigators 5, Berkshire United 3 â Harriet Morgan scored four goals to lead the Gators to the win. Marina Virgalla had a strong game and also scored. A penalty kick save from goalkeeper Katie Power sealed the win. Alana Bilangi, Kendra OâConnor and Christie Attanasio had good games in defense.
Danbury 4, Navigators 2 â Marina Virgalla scored with a crisp 14-yard volley to take the Gators into the lead, but Danbury took control of the game to score three unanswered goals. Eva Cerreta also scored for the Gators. Katie Kirrane and Jackie Petrasanta played well in defense and Lauren Hebert and Genna Scheuerell had strong games in the midfield.
