Thousands of motorcyclists with CT United Ride joined in the tribute to the fifteenth anniversary of 9/11, roaring through Newtown midday on Sunday, September 11.
The ride took off from Norwalk early Sunday morning, and entered Newtown via Bethel, on Route 302, before turning onto Route 25 south, culminating at Seaside Park in Bridgeport.
The CT United Ride is the largest motorcycle ride in Connecticut, taking nearly an hour for all participants to pass through Newtown.
