Claire D. Oustafine

Former Newtown Resident

Claire D. Oustafine, 87, of Cape Coral, Fla., formerly of Newtown and Norwalk, died November 15. She was born June 12, 1920, in St Theodore, Canada, daughter of Ore and Helenda (Breault) Fontaine.

Survivors include her son, John J. Oustafine, Jr, of Connecticut; her daughter, Janet C. Avery of Florida; four brothers; two sisters; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, John J. Oustafine, Sr.

A memorial service will take place in Connecticut at a later date.

Arrangements are by the Coral Ridge Funeral Home, Cape Coral, Fla.
