NHS Swimmers Top Masuk, Edged By Bunnell-Stratford

Newtown High School’s boys’ swimming and diving team began the season with a 100-84 win over visiting Masuk of Monroe on December 14, then fell 86-84 in a nail-biter to host Bunnell-Stratford on Tuesday to carry a 1-1 mark into the New Year, as the Nighthawks take a break from competition until a January 3 home meet with Brookfield.
