To the Editor:

At The Cornerstone recently, I witnessed a true Newtown moment.

When her purchases were totaled, a shopper found herself $4 short. Another shopper stepped up and offered to make up the difference. When she mentioned paying him back, he said to just do something for somebody else.

Oh Newtown, this former NY'er is very glad I found you!
