Town Players of Newtown announces auditions for A Christmas Carol by Christopher Schario, to be conducted Sunday and Monday, November 2-3, from 7 to 9 pm each night, at The Little Theatre, 18 Orchard Hill Road.

This is a unique rendering of the Christmas classic by Charles Dickens that captures all of Dickens’ delightful language and spirit. It will be suitable for the whole family.

Gene Golaszewski of Brookfield will direct.

The production calls for three men and two women (to play multiple roles), one boy or girl (to play Tiny Tim), and one musician.

Those auditioning should be prepared to read from sides from the script. No appointment is necessary. All roles are available.

Rehearsals will begin the week of November 9, and the production will run Friday and Saturday evenings, December 5-14, with two Sunday matinees and possibly some Saturday matinees.
