Rising Star Basketball

The Rising Start Summer Basketball League will begin its 15th season the week of July 11. All boys and girls entering Grades 6-9 are eligible to play.

Competitive, fun-filled basketball games will be played outdoors, at Treadwell Park, two nights per week. Games will be played Monday/Wednesday in July, and on Tuesday/Thursday in August. Playoffs and All Star games are included. All players receive a T-Shirt. There will be equal playing time for all, and an emphasis on fundamentals.

Register online at http://www.newtownct.gov/public_documents/NewtownCT_Park/registration. Register with Activity # 409613. Late registrants are welcome. Walk-in registration is available at the Parks and Recreation Department.

Parents wishing to volunteer to coach, assist, or serve as scorekeeper, are asked to email Coach John Quinn at quinn_john@sbcglobal.net.
