Mr and Mrs Richard J. Nowak

A family weekend celebration was highlighted by the wedding of Arlene Eisenbach and Richard J. Nowak on April 9 at Mohonk Mountain House in New Paltz, N.Y. The couple was married by the Rev Steven Frenier of Athol Springs, N.Y.

The couple’s children and grandchildren were the attendants the 11 am ceremony. Mrs Nowak’s sons, their wives, and children are Ronald and Donna Eisenbach with sons David and Daniel of Southbury; Michael and Melissa Eisenbach and daughters Sarah and Jessica, also of Southbury; and David Eisenbach of Old Saybrook.

Attending their father were Mr Nowak’s four daughters, with their husbands and children, Patricia and David Debski with children Lauren and David, of Newark, Del.; Barbara and Stephen Salvitti with Matthew, Brian, Jeffrey, Andrew and Alyssa of West Chester, Penn.; Jacqueline and David Taglianetti with sons Christopher, Nicholas, and Daniel, also of West Chester, Penn.; and Elizabeth and Michael Witt and children Stephanie and Michael of South Hadley, Mass.

Following a cruise to Bermuda, presented to the couple by their children, the Nowaks are at home in Sandy Hook.

Mrs Nowak is well known in Newtown as the owner of Newtown Singer Sewing Center, which she has run in town for the past 27 years. She started the shop in Sandy Hook, then moved it to Newtown Shopping Center on Queen Street and finally to its present location in Village Square on Route 25.

Mr Nowak is a retired manufacturing engineering supervisor from Amphenol Products, Danbury.
