Eppers, who will be a fourth grader this fall, participated in Matt Memoli’s Summer Baseball Academy at Newtown High this week.

Favorite part about playing: “Probably hitting.”

Toughest aspect: Fielding.

When he’s not on the diamonds: Plays basketball.
