'Christmas Vacation' At Edmond Town Hall, December 21-23
Celebrating its 25th anniversary this month, National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation will be screened for three days at Edmond Town Hall Theatre, 45 Main Street.
Released in December 1989, the film stars Chevy Chase, Beverly D’Angelo, Randy Quaid, Juliette Lewis, Johnny Galecki, Dianne Ladd, Doris Roberts, William Hickey, John Randolph, and E.G. Marshall. The film was the third release in the National Lampoon series that followed the Griswold family through adventures, but the only one that kept them at home.
This time Christmas is approaching, and the Griswolds — Clark (Chase), Ellen (D’Angelo), Audrey (Lewis) and Rusty (Galecki) — hope to have the best celebration ever. Clark’s continual bad luck is worsened, however, by obnoxious guests, neighbors, and a late Christmas bonus.
The film has a running time of 1 hour, 40 minutes, and is rated PG. It will be screened Sunday through Tuesday at 7 pm. Matinees will also be offered, at 1 and 4 pm Sunday, December 21.
All tickets are $2.
