Mary Gover, daughter of Donald and Linda Gover, is currently studying abroad while attending Connecticut College, New London. Mary is studying in England at the Institute for Study Abroad at University College London. Also while attending Connecticut College, Kathleen Sharnick, daughter of Steve and Iris Sharnick, is participating in Study Away Teach Away Vietnam in Vietnam.

Sandy Hook students were announced on Lauralton Hall’s second quarter honor roll recently. They are sophomores Kelly Ann McCarthy, Christina Gould, Alexandra Hamar, Amanda Watson, and Sarah Wilkie and seniors Caitlin Kalbacher and Shannon McCarthy. Lauralton Hall is a college preparatory high school for girls in Milford.

Morgan Haynes Knees, daughter of Geoff and Joanne Knees, was named on the fall 2009 Dean’s List at McCullum Graduate School, Waltham, Mass. The school recognizes students for the Dean’s List for high academic achievement during a single semester.
