Kyle’s maternal grandparents are Ward and Lorna Tice of Pine Bush, N.Y.

His paternal grandparents are William and Junis Nicholson of Newtown.

Brendon and Brooke (Fickett) Southard of Sandy Hook announce the birth of a son, Colin Jared Southard, on August 28 at St Vincent’s Hospital.

Colin weighed eight pounds, five ounces, and was 20½ inches in length.

He joins a brother, Trevor J., 2½.

Colin’s maternal grandparents are Mary and Russell Fickett of Sandy Hook. His paternal grandparents are Diana and Ronald Mcdowell of Monroe and Barry Southard and Valerie Gallo of Newtown.

Colin’s maternal great-grandmother is Emma D. Petersen of Woodbury. His paternal great-grandparents are Ethel Southard of Trumbull and Dick Laudau of Shelton.

Robert and Deborah Gannon of New Milford announce the birth of a son, Connor Christopher Gannon, on August 8 at Danbury Hospital.

Connor weighed nine pounds, four ounces.

He joins a brother, Ryan, 4.

Connor’s maternal grandparents are Patricia and John Tropeano of Newtown. His paternal grandparents are Virginia and John Gannon of Danbury.
