Jessica Tendler and Andrew Sachs

The engagement of Jessica Tendler, Stamford, daughter of Bob and Debby Tendler of Sandy Hook, and Andrew Sachs, Stamford, son of James and JoAnn Sachs of Yardley, Penn., is announced.

Ms Tendler is a 2000 graduate of Newtown High School and received her bachelor of science from Ithaca (N.Y.) College in 2004. She is employed as an events coordinator by JD Events in Trumbull.

Mr Sachs graduated from Hun School of Princeton, N.J., in 1998 and from Ithaca College with a bachelor of arts in 2002. He is the manager of new business development for Scholastic, Inc in New York City.

A September 2006 wedding is planned.
