*GREEN DAY has announced the first leg of their ¡UNO!, ¡DOS!, ¡TRÉ! Tour, and that full-scale North American tour will rock Mohegan Sun Arena on Saturday, January 19, at 8 pm.

Tickets are $42 and $62 will go on sale Friday, September 14, through TicketMaster online, TicketMaster’s national toll free Charge By Phone line (800-745-3000), any TicketMaster outlets.

Tickets will also be available at the Mohegan Sun Box Office starting Saturday morning at 10, subject to availability.

*As JOURNEY continues on their 2012 tour which kicked off in July, they now have their sights set on a return to Mohegan Sun Arena with special guest Loverboy on Friday, November 2, at 7:30 pm.

Tickets are $55 and $75, and they went on sale Friday, September 7. They are available through TicketMaster online and vendors, as well as the casino’s box office.

Tickets will then be available starting tomorrow at the casino’s box office.

*In addition tickets for THE SMASHING PUMPKINS show at Mohegan Sun Arena a few nights later also went on sale last week. Tickets are $25 and available through the sale outlets, including TicketMaster online.

*Tickets for a November 13 MEGADETH show at The Toyota Oakdale Theatre in Wallingford will be going on sale Friday morning, for $35 and $40.

They will be available through LiveNation.com.

*Just confirmed this week: LEON RUSSELL and LITTLE FEAT will join forces for one night at The Klein Auditorium in Bridgeport.

Fairfield Theatre Company members received first dibs on tickets for the November 8 show this week, but the public on-sale will begin Friday, September 14, at noon.

Tickets are $33 to $77 each, and available by calling 203-259-1036 or visiting FairfieldTheatre.org (click on Calendar).

*Tickets are still available for the BIG SEAN show over at Western CT State University later this month.

The Detroit-based rapper will be in the Feldman Arena on the westside campus on Friday, September 28. Tickets are $39 ($33 for WCSU students with ID), and are available by calling 203-837-TIXX (203-837-8499) and online at www.wcsu.edu/tickets. Both WCSU Box Office locations — Westside Campus Center Information Desk at 43 Lake Avenue Extension and Midtown Student Center Information Desk on White Street — also have tickets for purchase.

Special guests will be Mike Stud and Huey Mack.

While the concert is (obviously, I know) open to the public, please note that attendees need to be at least 16 in order to attend.

*CLAY AIKEN will bring his Joyful Noise Tour 2012 to The Palace/Stamford Center for the Arts on December 6.

Tickets went on sale to the public Wednesday morning ($40 to $58), and are available at SCA’s box office at 61 Atlantic Street in Stamford, by calling 203-325-4466, and online through tickets.StamfordCenterForTheArts.org.

*Sandy Hook singer-songwriter DARRYL GREGORY has announced a show on Saturday, October 27, at The Funky Monkey Café & Gallery in Cheshire.

Showtime is 7 pm, and there is no charge to get in to the café, which Darryl promises “has great drink, food and ambience, so come on down!” I did notice while looking around the café’s website (TheFunkyMonkeyCafe.com) that there is a $10 minimum for credit card charges, so plan accordingly.
