Katie Marchant to William Giesen

James and JoAnn Giesen of 34 The Boulevard, Newtown, announce the engagement of Katie Marchant of Lititz, Penn., to their son, William Giesen of Herndon, Va.

Ms Marchant is the daughter of Wayne and Linda Marchant of Lititz, Penn.

She attended Cleveland High School in Cleveland, Tenn., graduating with the Class of 1995, and she graduated in 1998 from Penn State University with a bachelor of science degree in human development. She is center director for Education, Inc.

Mr Giesen graduated from Newtown High School with the Class of 1994, and he attended Boston College, graduating in 1998 with a bachelor of science degree in economics/marketing from the Carroll School of Management. He is an account executive with Citistreet.

A September wedding is planned.
