Resident Artistsâ Work At 550 Gallery
BETHLEHEM â The 550 Gallery has launched a new season with a show by The Rogues, the resident artists at the gallery in the BCM Building, 550 Main Street South in Bethlehem.
The exhibit, called âRogues Rendezvous,â features new work by 14 artists who have spent the summer painting in various locations around the area. Oils, pastels, watercolors, pen and ink, pencil and photography will all be featured.
The exhibit will continue through September 30. Gallery hours are 1 to 5 pm Saturday and Sunday. The show can also be seen during regular business hours at BCM, which are 8 am to 5 pm. Monday through Friday.
Participating in the show are: Judy Bird, from Burlington; Paul Tracy and Lori Potter-Dauphin, Thomaston; Bob Brophy and Lois Hamel, Plymouth; Emma Byrne, Torrington; Marilyn V. DiChiara, Northfield; Jean Ganci, Woodbury; Carol Martin and Rosemary Garretson, Watertown; Patty MacIver, Terryville; Carol T. Moore, Bantam; Vin Rosa and Elizabeth Wilson, Waterbury.
A special event, The Roguesâ Road Show, on Saturday, September 8, will be a day long event offering art, pottery, jewelry and glass for sale, pottery and painting demonstrations, and hands-on art activities for children.
