Gary Robert Behrmann

Former Sandy Hook Resident

Gary Robert Behrmann, 49, of Mesa, Ariz., died January 18. Mr Behrmann was born April 26, 1958.

Mr Behrmann was a former resident of Sandy Hook and graduated from Newtown High School, Class of 1976, where he played basketball for the high school team.

He is survived by his mother and stepfather, Gloria and Richard Vechiarello of Sandy Hook; his father and stepmother Arthur and Beatrice Behrmann of Newtown; two sisters, Gail Hreshak of Trumbull and Susan Docet of Stamford; his grandmother, Lillian Hansen of Bethel; and nephews Joseph and Matthew.

Service and burial for Mr Behrmann will be at Mount Hope Cemetery, Hastings-On-Hudson, N.Y., in the spring.
