A Great Storyteller
Thomas Cyril Brown IV, 45, of Newtown, previously of Cortlandt Manor, N.Y., and Houston, Texas, died suddenly January 5. He was the beloved husband of Suzanne (Messenger) Brown. Mr Brown was born in Staten Island, N.Y., on January 24, 1962, a son of Thomas C. Brown, III, and Sheila Brown Warner of Warwick, N.Y.
He graduated from Memorial High School, Houston, and Texas Tech University. Mr Brown previously had been employed as a stock trader at Shearson Lehman Bros and Jefferies & Co, both of New York City, and Soundview Technologies Corp of Greenwich. He most recently was a partner at Gilbert Hill Capital, Westport.
 Mr Brown loved to golf, fish, cook, and travel with his family. He was known by all who knew him well as a great storyteller. He was a devoted parishioner of St Rose of Lima Church in Newtown and participated in many charity events for various organizations.
In addition to his wife and mother, Mr Brown is survived by his beloved children, Christopher, Cyril, and Caroline; two sisters, Kathryn Brown Theallet of Warwick, N.Y., and Ellen Brown Montgomery of St. Louis, Mo.; and many nieces and nephews. A brother, Christopher M. Brown, predeceased him.
 A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated in St Rose of Lima Church January 9. Interment was in Warwick Cemetery, Warwick, N.Y.
