Christopher & Kristine Viglietta
Christopher & Kristine Viglietta
Newtown residents Kristine Henley and Christopher Viglietta were married by the Reverend Matthew Crebbin on October 15, 2011, at Newtown Congregational Church.
The bride was given into marriage by her father, Gregory Henley, and the couple included the lighting of a remembrance candle as part of their marriage ceremony in honor of her mother, the late Suzanne Henley.
For her wedding day Kristine had selected a gown by Casablanca. Her bridal bouquet featured dark pink roses with scattered white stephanotis. Her motherâs pearl necklace was draped throughout the bouquet.
Larayne Bria of Woodbury and Edith David of Stafford, Va., shared the honor of being matrons of honor. Stacey Miller, of Lansdale, Penn., was the bridesmaid and Gwendolyn Viglietta, the groomâs daughter, was a junior bridesmaid. All wore knee-length dark pink dresses, featuring halter tops, by Alfred Angelo. Their bouquets echoed the design of the brideâs.
The groom is a son of Linda Tribble of Wappingers Falls, N.Y., and the late Anthony Viglietta of Loves Park, Ill.
His brother, Anthony Viglietta, of Maybrook, N.Y., was his best man. Ushers were Jarrett Lefberg of Vernon, Conn., John Tribble of Wappingers Falls, N.Y., and Billy Viglietta, the groomâs nephew, of Maybrook.
Also playing special roles in the ceremony were Alessandra Miller and Brianna Miller, both of Lansdale, Penn., serving as flower girls, and Matteo Bria of Woodbury, who was the ring bearer.
Kristine is a graduate of Newtown High School and of Franklin Pierce University in Rindge, N.H. She is a teacher at Ridgefield Academy.
Christopher, a graduate of Pine Bush High School, Pine Bush, N.Y., is on the management team at Target.
Having celebrated their wedding with a Caribbean cruise, the Vigliettas have returned to their home in Newtown.
