Sharon Llodra Barrows, 44, of Woodbury, died July 28 at Yale-New Haven Hospital. She was born in Bridgeport, July 17, 1965, daughter of Ellin Patricia and Robert Llodra of Newtown. Ms Barrows grew up in Newtown and graduated in 1983 from Newtown High School.
She is survived by her parents; her husband Robert; three daughters; a brother, Michael Llodra; a sister, Bethany Gilman; her fatherâin-law; and many loving relatives and friends.
After graduating from Roanoke College, she married her hometown sweetheart Robert Barrows, and together they had three special girls, Katharine, Julia, and Olivia. She celebrated every moment of the life that they created, and devoted tireless energy to her family.
Ms Barrows served as vice president of sales and marketing of RML Incorporated, a chemical distribution firm where she worked for her father. She created deep relationships with clients and colleagues.
A great laugher and lover of life, she was always enthusiastic, joyful and smiling, and had a natural gift of bringing people together.
Visiting hours will be Sunday, August 2, from 4 to 8 pm, at Honan Funeral Home, 58 Main Street in Newtown. Funeral services with a Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, August 3, at 10 am, at St Rose of Lima Church, Newtown. Interment will follow in Newtown Village Cemetery.
