Susan Lee White to Luis Jorge Vaz

Wendy and Charlie White of Woodbury announce the engagement of their daughter, Susan Lee White of San Diego, Calif., to Luis Jorge Vaz, also of San Diego.

Mr Vaz is the son of Alfredo and Palmira Vaz of South Africa.

Ms White graduated from Newtown High School with the Class of 1993. She attended Ohio State University and graduated in 1997. She is employed by Mission Ventures.

Mr Vaz graduated from the John Orr High School with the Class of 1989. He attended the University of  Witwaterstrand in Johannesburg, South Africa, graduating in 1993.

He is employed by Zyray Wireless.

An October wedding is planned.
