Dressage4Kids, the annual program organized by two-time Olympian Lendon Gray, will be held Saturday and Sunday, February 3 and 4, at the Post University Leever Student Center in Waterbury.

The lectures will be held from 8 am to 6:30 pm on February 3 and 8 am to 4 pm on February 4.

It is a great weekend for anyone of all ages interested in riding, let alone dressage, and will include advice from experts that every trainer, competitor, horse owner and parent will learn from and enjoy. There will be special talks for parents, amateurs, trainers and young riders. The program is ideal for Pony Club members working on upgrading their tests, for instructors working on certification, or just riders interested in learning more.

All talks will be supported by handouts, power-point presentations and videos, and provide an opportunity to learn from the top experts.

Speakers will include …

Susan Harris – World-renowned author and lecturer; Alison End – FEI Competitor, USDF Certified Instructor, Balimo Core Instructor; Fern Feldman – Amateur FEI rider, USDF Region 8 Director; Lendon Gray – Two-time Olympian, USDF Instructor Certification Examiner, renowned instructor and author; Margaret Freeman – USEF S judge, favorite clinician and lecturer; Vicki Hammers-O’Neil, USDF Instructor Certification Faculty;  Robin Levine, Personal Trainer, Fitness Instructor, and rider; and Laura Akin, a mother who specializes in developing sponsorship packages for riders.

Directions – Take Exit 17 off Interstate 84. onto Rt. 63 South. At light near Mobil Station, turn left on Country Club Rd. The Leever Building parking is the third entrance on the left near the top of the hill. Meals may be purchased at the campus dining hall in the same building.)   

Prior to January 20, fees for the weekend are $10/day or $15 for weekend for youths; $20/day or $35 for weekend for adults (adults who bring five or more attendees get in free).  After January 20, add $5.  Meals are $10 at the campus Dining Hall and all meals must be paid in advance (make checks payable to Dressage4Kids, Inc. and mail to Lendon Gray, 25 Lake Avenue, Bedford, NY 10506).
