Joseph S. Liscinsky, 93, of Newtown, died March 10, in Danbury Hospital. He was born in Bridgeport, December 24, 1916, a son of Anthony and Mary (Petrik) Liscinsky. Mr Liscinsky was the husband of the late Mary (Sterbeck) Liscinsky.

A resident of Newtown since 1940, he was a tool setter at Remington Arms until his retirement. He was a devoted family man, and enjoyed gardening, and animals.

Mr Liscinsky is survived by two sons, Stephen Liscinsky and his wife, Kathryn, of Newtown and Joseph Liscinsky and his wife, Arlene of Shelton; a daughter, Mary Liscinsky of Newtown; and four grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St Rose of Lima Church, Newtown, Saturday, March 13, at 9:30 am. Interment will follow in St John Cemetery, Stratford. Friends may call at the Honan Funeral Home, 58 Main Street, Newtown, Friday, March 12, from 5 to 7 pm.
