Youth Championship Bowling Tournament

The Greater Danbury USBC Association will host a Youth Championship Bowling Tournament at Brookfield Lanes, 840 Federal Road in Brookfield (203-775-4343), December 5, 6 and 13.

Squad times: Saturday, December 5 at noon and 2:30 pm. Check in 1/2 hour before start time

Sunday, December 6 & 13 at 9 am and 11:30 am. Check in 1/2 hour before start time

Walk-ins are welcome.

Format: All bowlers must be sanctioned members of the GDUSBC-Youth

Events: Singles, Doubles (Boys, Girls & Mixed), four-person teams (Boys, Girls & Mixed) and All Events. Entry Fee: $15 per event. Handicap: 100% of 200 average. Average Divisions: Up to 114 average; 115 thru 144 average; 145 average and Over. All Averages must be verified by a youth director/coach prior to the start of tournament bowling.

Bowlers will bowl three games for each event. GDUSBC dress code will apply. Trophies will be awarded on a basis of at least one for every ten entries.

Scholarships will be awarded from the (net) awards fees collected for first and second place in all events (Handicap & Scratch; Male & Female). All first-place awards will be given in conjunction with the GDUSBC Hall of Fame/Breakfast with the Pros on Sunday, April 18, 2010 at Ethan Allen Inn-Danbury (first-place winners will receive one free entry ticket). Each paid entry will go into a drawing to win $50 gift certificate at the pro shop.
