Award candidates exemplify Dickinson’s qualities, including exemplary volleyball skills, leadership, teamwork, coachability, and a love of the game, in addition to courtesy, respect, and sportsmanship on and off the court.
Calandro, a team captain, who also earned Second Team All State and First Team All South-West Conference accolades, racked up 194 kills, 180 digs, 61 service points, and 47 assists during the regular season, during which Newtown went 11-9.
