Ashlar Hosts Classic Car Show

Ashlar of Newtown held a Classic Car Show and Summer Sounds Concert at its facility on Toddy Hill Road Saturday for the general public and its residents to enjoy.

The sun-filled day brought residents from Ashlar and Lockwood Lodge out to see the antique cars as well as listen to music provided by The Bear Cats, who played Louisiana jazz tunes for participants.

Attendees at the September 15 event also enjoyed cook-out goodies. The event was co-sponsored by Ashlar of Newtown and Newtown Savings Bank.
