Callahan
Liam J. Callahan, 42, of Sandy Hook, died suddenly, September 10, in Monroe. He was born in Norwalk, the son of Carmel (OâSullivan) and Kevin Callahan.
A retired Norwalk police officer, Mr Callahan worked for a security company and was co-owner of The Angry Pepper in Monroe. He was a loving husband and father who enjoyed cigars, hot sauce, and hiking with his family.
In addition to Laura, his loving wife of 12 years, his son Ryan; brothers Owen Callahan and Brendan Callahan, and his wife Susan; a sister, Deirdre Denovalis, and her husband Richard; mother- and father-in-law Loreto and Michelina Piselli; sister-in-law Annalisa Breisler, and her husband John; brother-in-law Michael Piselli; his nieces; and his dog âCooterâ survive Mr Callahan.
Calling hours were scheduled for Thursday, September 13, from 5 to 8 pm, at the Magner Funeral Home, 12 Mott Avenue, Norwalk. A funeral Mass was scheduled for Friday, September 14, at 11 am, at St Philip Church, 1 Fr Conlin Place, Norwalk. Other services are to be held privately.
