Annual Newtown Tree Lighting, 6:30 pm, Ram Pasture, Elm Drive at Hawley Road, caroling will lead in to annual lighting of town’s Christmas Tree, also visits with Santa and Mrs Claus.

“Love, Marriage & More: An Evening of One-Acts,” curtain 8 pm, The Little Theatre, Orchard Hill Road, tickets $18, closing production of 2008 Town Players of Newtown season will feature five one-act plays, tickets $18; 270-9144.
