NHS Seniors Honored

Newtown High School seniors Jess Lynch and Kyler Harmeling received South-West Conference Scholar-Leader Awards at the league banquet that was held at the Stone Barn in Monroe this past spring. The award is given to a senior boy and girl who are outstanding students and have displayed leadership qualities that set them apart from their classmates. Newtown High seniors Abbey Doski and Brendan McNamara received CIAC Scholar-Athlete Awards at the state banquet that was held at the Aqua Turf in Southington in the spring. The award is given to a seniors who are outstanding student-athletes and possess high levels of integrity, self-discipline, and courage with personal standards which serve as a model to others.
