Mr and Mrs David Allen Boyer

Peter and Mimi Riccio of Newtown announce the marriage of their daughter, Jessica Mara Riccio, Philadelphia, to David Allen Boyer, Philadelphia, son of David and Kathy Boyer of Kirkland, Wash., on June 11 at St Rose of Lima Church, Newtown. The Rev Robert Weiss officiated the wedding.

The bride was given in marriage by her father. She wore a V-neck ball gown with silver embroidered flowers and crystal beading designed by Matthew Christopher. Her bouquet was of pink and ivory roses.

The bride’s sister, Danielle Weinstein of Torrington, served as matron of honor. Carolyn Skahan, sister of the groom, Huntley, Ill., Erica Mellick, Baltimore, Md., and Joy Morris, Philadelphia, were the bridesmaids. All of the attendants wore floor-length strapless gowns of dark silver, iridescent Taffeta and carried white hydrangeas with pink roses.

The best man was Kochun Hu of Redmond, Wash. Joel Weinstein, Torrington and Jason Skahan of Huntley, Ill., served as ushers.

A wedding reception was held at The Waterview in Monroe.

The bride is a graduate of Newtown High School and LaSalle University, Philadelphia. She is currently enrolled in a dual master’s program at Temple University in Philadelphia. She is employed as senior communications officer at Philadelphia Health Management Corporation.

Mr Boyer graduated from Lake Washington High School in Kirkland, Wash., and served five years in the US Navy as Navy corpsman for the US Marine Corps. He is presently a student at Temple University.

After a wedding trip to Barbados, the couple is at home in Philadelphia.
