To the Editor, and to my children and parents - past and present:

For the first time since 1972, I will not be operating that big, yellow "taxi" to transport you to school on your first day. Words can not express the feelings that are becoming more and more pronounced as each day passes.

I write this because my greatest wish is for each of you to know that I will be there with you - heart, soul, and spirit!

I hope, no, I know, that you will all have an exceptional year ahead!
