Dr Timothy and Jo Ellen Gardner of Enfield, N.H., announce the birth of a son, Jack Timothy Gardner, on August 1 at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, N.H.

Jack weighed nine pounds, five ounces and was 21 inches in length.

He joins a brother, Matthew Robert, 22 months.

Jack’s maternal grandparents are Herbert and Joanna Petty of Middletown, Va.

His paternal grandparents are Robert and Karen Gardner of Newtown.
