Rosetta M. Clampitt

Rosetta M. (Eddie) Clampitt, 66, of Jefferson City, Tenn., formerly of Newtown, died June 4 at St Mary’s Hospital following a brief illness. She was of the Methodist Faith.

Mrs Clampitt was preceded in death by her parents, Eli and Leola Shepherd.

She is survived by her loving husband of 44 years, Dr William (Bill) Clampitt; her sons and daughter-in-law, Jeffery Clampitt and Laurie Licare of Knoxville, Tenn., Brian and Mary Anne Clampitt of Jefferson City, Tenn., and Robert Clampitt of Vermont. Her grandchildren, Kyle Licare, Amanda Clampitt, and Nicholas Clampitt also survive her, as does her brother, Gene Shepherd of California; sister, Patrica Cater of Arkansas, sister-in-law, Maria Rickman of Arkansas; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held June 6 from Farrar Funeral Home Chapel, Jefferson City, Tenn., with Rev John Pinkston officiating. Private interment will be held at a later date.
