To the Editor:

I would like to thank of the generous people who came out on Saturday, November 19, to support the local volunteer firefighters "Fill the Fire Truck."

We were able to give FAITH Food Pantry 46 turkeys, 136 boxes of food, and $1,780 in cash and gift cards.

I would also like to thank my fellow firefighters who collected, sorted, and delivered the goods. Big Y and Stop & Shop support us every year and allow us to collect in front of their stores. We could not have done this with out the support of Curtis Packaging, also. They supplied us with the boxes.

I wish everyone a great Thanksgiving and look forward to seeing you next year.
